Haru no Hanami

First contest entry for DokiMajesticSwan -san's OC Drawing Contest.

I had so much fun doing this that perhaps I'm gonna make another entry, but that's tentative for now. I'll see if I can do another one.

Characters above are Luzio and Yuki, owned by DokiMajesticSwan -san and baenana -san respectively.

We all know that "haru" (jap. "spring") usually has the figurative meaning of "youth" and "love", especially in the Japanese context.
The image shows hanami - "the traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms or plum blossoms" (ref. wikipedia). Luzio, in this case, is awestruck as he gazes upon the beauty of a certain "flower" while basking in the late afternoon sun. :>

PS: sorry for the hair and the flowers...the sakura...I don't have the amount patience required to draw a lot of details...still practicing on that. So please don't kill me~~~ DX
